Charlotte’s short script, MELISSA, was one of five projects selected for the 2019 Through Her Lens Female Filmmakers Program.

Cleo is an up-and-coming queer theater director who’s awarded a summer fellowship under the guidance of the program’s beloved director, Melissa. Over the course of the summer, Melissa’s desire to win Cleo’s adoration becomes more and more warped until Cleo is forced to engage in a battle she never wanted to be a part of.
